Why Become An Ideation Fellow?
Ideation Fellows are students who want to make a difference on campus and in their communities. They want to solve our society’s most pressing problems through innovation, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. We believe when provided the proper tools and resources, students can change the world… and our Fellows aim to prove it!
Who Are Fellows Are
Fellows are leaders, ambassadors, outside-the-box thinkers, advocates, entrepreneurs, and innovators. They challenge themselves everyday to work harder than their peers in order to achieve something greater than themselves. They inspire other students to chase their dreams and help develop their skills in team building, creativity, brainstorming, and venture creation. They are the game changers and trendsetters. They are here to change the world.
Training includes the following areas of focus:
- Campus canvas and strategic planning – what opportunities are out there???
- Entrepreneurial and non-profit discovery and mentoring.
- Advocacy training for community engagement and change.
All training is primarily conducted online so that students can work within their local communities while collaborating with other Fellows across the country.
Annual summits that all Fellows (enrolled/graduated) can attend will be conference style lectures to train Fellows in topics such as intellectual property, fundraising, public relations, etc. This conference will have leaders from all over the country in attendance to be able to provide the best learning opportunity available.
Ideation Fellows will work together over a 10 week period to learn methods to improve their university, community, and the world. They will do this through a program that is specifically designed on encompassing all components of innovation, entrepreneurship, and student engagement.
